Petroleum Engineer with over 32 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry specially in the Exploration and Production (E&P) business. Robust experience managing hydrocarbon projects along with technical asset evaluation and economics (M&A ad A&D) for the Gulf of Mexico (deep water and shelf), Alaska (North Slope), North Atlantic (Canada), South Atlantic (Venezuela, Argentina) and West Africa. Broad experience in the management, characterization and capitalization of conventional and unconventional reservoirs as to in the development and implementation of IOR/EOR projects. Mr. Riera leadership has been a key in the success of billion-dollar projects which he has dealt with. Previously, Mr. Riera has worked with prestigious and large Oil & Gas Corporations such as Hess, ARCO, BP, Petrobras and Lagoven S.A. Member of S.P.E. (Society of Petroleum Engineers).
